What is a typical worship service like?
Services at South Bay Free Methodist have a contemporary, Evangelical feel with an emphasis on modern Christian worship music and Bible based teaching applicable to everyday Christian life.  Dress is casual and the atmosphere is relaxed and joyful.

A typical worship service will begin with announcements and an opening prayer.  This is followed by the Invitation to Worship and an opening, traditional hymn.  The congregation then greets each other in Christian love.  Modern worship and praise music is then sung accompanied by our own church musicians.  An offering is taken, followed by the message from the Pastor , then a closing song and prayer.

Once a month, Communion is taken.  Communion is open to anyone that has openly professed their faith in Christ, regardless of denomination.  A church lunch is also served once a month and all are welcome.

Regarding the offering, all first time visitors are considered guests and the service is our gift to you.  Please accept this gift and do not feel obligated to make an offering, we are simply happy to have you with us.
